Number Portability is Coming Up

Finally we have it– the thing that we all were listening from years – Number Portability. Government announced that from 31 Dec 2009 the number portability would be in operation.

What is Number Portability?
With this you don’t have to change the mobile number – and you can shift your service to another service provider. This means that whichever service provider is providing better service or better service plan according to you – you can use its services – without changing the number of your mobile phone.

Good Any Thing More
We have all been listening that due to heavy network shifting charges applied by the government this service would not come at cheap prices – and shifting would be difficult and one has to pay hefty charges.

But now the situation is clear and user just have has to pay Rs.19 to the old network for shifting and Rs.19 to the new network which one is shifting to.
