Tracing Professor S P Sethi or Professor Awasthi - Muzaffarnagar

I visited Bijnor from UK for several months in 1967 and was welcomed by Prof S P Sethi, teacher of English at a Bijnor college, and Prof Awasthi, whi I think was a teacher of Hindu religion or Indian history. They were so kind to me and in January 2009 I want to visit again with my now wife and see the place where I stayed in a hut by the Ganga outside of Vidurkuti Ashram 7 miles from Bijnore. If anyone knows of these people and whether they are still alive I would like to hear. Also is there any hotal where I can stay and hire a car to go to Vidurkuti after 41 years please? My photo here is my appearance at the time. I am now an old man of 64. Thank you. The second photo is my other friend at the time who also was with me at Vidurkuti in 1967 - Mr Kevin Rigby who, sadly, has since passed away.

I think Vidurkuti Ashram was near Ganj where there was a weekly village market. We filled shopping bags full of food and groceies there for less than 1 rupee.

There was also a bikri-wallah and a small post office where he made his bikri on the verandah. I still remember the taste. There was also a sadhu called Swami Atitji who gave us lessons in Hindu philosophy, Vendanta.
